Muriel A. Murch was born and grew up England, graduating as a nurse in 1964.
In 1965 she married Walter Murch in New York City and they motorcycled to Los Angeles, California, relocating to The Bay Area in 1968.
After settling at Blackberry Farm, while raising four children, Murch worked as a nurse-midwife in the rural medical practice in Point Reyes Station serving Marin and Sonoma Counties.
In the late 1980’s she began her radio career at KPFA.FM in Berkeley in the Drama and Literature department, reading literature and then hosting authors on Cover to Cover.
In 1994 she became a founder and program director of KWMR radio
Her work is also included in several nursing and medical anthologies.
She continues to sporadically produce A Letter From A Broad for radio and her social media sites while still writing stories
She lives with her husband in Northern California and London.
