Morgan Shamy is a former ballerina and professional pianist whose transition to writing has made her a standout voice in Young Adult fiction. Rooted in a lifelong devotion to the arts, she began ballet at age four and went on to perform on prestigious stages such as Carnegie Hall before mentoring hundreds of students—many of whom received full scholarships to top ballet schools, including the School of American Ballet, Kirov Academy, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Harid Conservatory. Morgan discovered writing as a creative lifeline after her three-year-old son was diagnosed with cancer.
