Monique Johnson is a native New Yorker from St. Albans, Queens. Currently, she resides in Windsor Mill, Maryland. A graduate of The University of Maryland: Eastern Shore, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Special Education. Ms. Johnson furthered her studies and attended Towson University, in which she obtained a Master of Education in Early Childhood. Ms. Johnson, a former veteran Special Education Teacher with Baltimore City Public Schools, had provided over 27 years of dedicated service to children and their families. Ms. Johnson provided specialized instruction to children with special needs in which many of them are Autistic. She lended behavioral and academic support to families of special needs children. Currently, Ms. Johnson is retired from the school district. She continues to teach and offer academic support for students who are struggling with literacy skills in the private sector.
