Mixon Trammell writes space westerns where frontier justice still matters and doing the right thing is rarely easy.

A career law enforcement officer with nearly two decades in the field, he brings hard choices and moral complexity to his Frontier Ranger series and other stories set on the edge of civilization.

His science fiction blends classic western grit with futuristic settings. Lawmen instead of cowboys. Frontier towns instead of dusty settlements. You'll find problems a faster draw won't solve. Expect action, loyalty, dry humor, and characters who protect the innocent even when the odds are bad.

He lives in Arcadia, Florida, with his wife, kids, and enough coffee to fuel a small starship. When he is not writing or serving as a school resource officer at a middle school, he is at the gym pretending to be in shape or reading something involving gunfights, starships, or Florida history.

If you like space westerns, stoic lawmen, and science fiction that remembers its boots were once dusty, you are in the right place.
