Born in the US, raised in Belgium and now living in the mountains of Oregon, Miranda Mayer is a fantasy author with a unique perspective. An avid equestrian, writer, artist and seamstress, if she isn't dabbling in some sort of craft or other, she is not happy. Owner of a large draught horse, two Jack Russell Terriers and a sometimes-feral cat, Miranda lives with her husband in a tiny cabin (she is a proud member of the Small House Society) in the foothills of Mount Hood. She speaks four languages.
