Mira Rest was born on the Adriatic Sea, where she spent the most magical childhood years. This little slice of heaven was going to be the place she stayed forever, until war came. Since abruptly starting a new life in America, she learned that to live fully is to love fearlessly and conquer life’s storms gracefully. She has earned and proudly wears many titles including teacher, wife, mother, leader, and writer. Rest is a self-described Philomath and thalassophile. She hopes to one day unlock the secrets of the healing powers of the sea and share them with all of you.
