Michelle Barber is on a mission to persuade more children, teenagers and adults to read and write creatively. This was the reason she started Loony Literature with her teenage son, Will. They live in a deserted village and write, act and make videos in The Laboratory with their two monsters. The monsters live as part of the family, even Mildred, The Laboratory cat, enjoys cuddling up to them. "Will Blyton and The Stinking Shadow" is the first book in Will Blyton - The Alternative Detective Series. "Frankenstein's Revenge - a play full of shifty manoeuvres and time travel" - is a play inspired by Mary Shelley's Frankenstein to inspire children to act and write. "Mulgrave Castle" is a saucy, Victorian detective story starring Harriet Twine - this is work in progress.
