Michael T. Moore is a dialysis patient, IT security professional, performance car builder, and father based in Tampa, Florida. Diagnosed with Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease at age 44 — after years of warning signs he didn't recognize — he's spent six years in dialysis and remains on the national kidney transplant waitlist. He founded MAVTG, a medical travel company built by a patient for patients, and wrote the books he wishes had existed on the day of his diagnosis. His cars have run eight-second quarter-miles. His mission in both arenas is the same: exceed every limit he was told applied to him.
