Michael Kelly is the author of The Wealth Almanac, a #1 Amazon Best Seller in Wealth Management, Economic History and Investing Portfolio Management (Kindle, October 2025). He has more than a decade of experience in banking and academia.

The Wealth Almanac draws lessons from financial history for today's investors, informed by his experience at Citigroup, Barclays, UBS, and Mizuho Securities. Michael has specialized in structured finance, trade finance, and institutional capital raising throughout his career.

Michael is the founder of Investment Science LLC and SageFusion, where he builds AI-driven research and treasury tools.

Michael is an adjunct instructor at Hofstra University's Frank G. Zarb School of Business and has previously taught at Baruch College and Yeshiva University, covering data analytics, entrepreneurship, and information systems. He is pursuing his Doctor of Business Administration at Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business, researching capital access for underserved entrepreneurs.

Michael holds an MS in Entrepreneurship from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, a Graduate Banking Diploma from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and a BBA in Computer Information Systems with an Economics minor from Baruch College. He completed additional finance coursework at Coastal Carolina University and holds CITI Program research certifications.

Based in New York, Michael is passionate about democratizing financial knowledge and expanding capital access for entrepreneurs who have been traditionally excluded from institutional funding. The views in his books are his own and do not represent any university or employer.
