Michael Holmes is a native of Savannah Georgia. He is a career police officer who blends his law enforcement work experience with his interest in humanity to try and provide hope and comfort wherever he can. He was awarded a 2002 Trumpet Award for his first book The Twelfth Man Standing. Michael Holmes also runs a non-profit organization titled: LT FAD short for (Live To Fight Another Day) A community awareness program that is designed to reduce the numbers of incidents involving people being inquired or killed by police officers.
