Melanie Lemesle is an artist, songwriter, and co-author of Miss Gifty’s School. She fell in love with storytelling while listening to her mother’s tales about a secret school filled with hidden tunnels, strange people and dark forces. As she grew up, she became determined to help her mom turn those stories into a published book. Through her writing, she aims to teach children a valuable lesson: if you're rejected, it's because you belong somewhere better. Her stories encourage kids to embrace their unique selves and never feel bad for being different.
