Megan Day is a certified life and career coach and the founder of Rooted & Vibrant coaching. In 2005, she graduated from McMaster University with an Honors Bachelor of Science, and in 2007 she earned a Master of Science degree in genetic counseling from Arcadia University. Since becoming a mom, Megan has been through every possible work scenario from full-time, part-time, stay-at-home mom, and work-from-home entrepreneur. After having her second daughter in 2017, Megan went through postpartum depression and struggled with her decision to go back to work full-time. She slowly transitioned out of her twelve-year career as a genetic counselor to start her own business. She felt a calling to serve moms in a deeper, more meaningful way. In her coaching practice, Megan specializes in helping mothers reconnect with their personal and professional passions through coaching, workshops, and women’s circles. Through her 200-hour yoga teacher training, her life coach certification, and meditation instructor training, she has found her path to personal transformation and her passion to share it with others. In her “free time,” Megan loves nature walks with her kiddos, bike rides, listening to anything personal development, reading (but rarely finishing) nonfiction books, drinking green tea, and getting lost in a good soul wrenching song. She’s pretty sure she’s an empath, and her intuition guides her. Megan lives in Burlington, Ontario, with her high school sweetheart husband and their two daughters. They will be welcoming a puppy into their home soon to add to the chaos!
