Max Beairsto, B.Sc.Pharm., MBA, CVA, is an author, business valuation professional, and transaction advisor who has spent more than two decades helping Canadian entrepreneurs understand, build, buy, and successfully exit privately held businesses.

As President of Enterprise Valuators Corporation (EVCOR), Max advises business owners on valuation, succession planning, sale preparation, and the often-overlooked human side of leaving a business. Since 2005, he has participated in hundreds of valuation and transaction advisory engagements across healthcare, retail, professional services, manufacturing, trades, and other owner-managed industries.

Before founding EVCOR, Max served as Director of Business Development and Real Estate at Katz Group, where he was responsible for acquisitions and real estate activities throughout Western Canada. He has also personally bought, operated, and sold two of this businesses, giving him firsthand insight into both the financial and emotional realities of business ownership.

Max is the author of BUY IT SMART and EXIT RIGHT: From Ownership to Retirement. His writing turns complex valuation, transaction, and exit-planning concepts into practical guidance that helps owners make informed decisions, protect their wealth, and leave their businesses on their own terms.
