Matthew is a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Fitness Nutritionist through American Council of Exercise. He is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through National Strength & Conditioning Association and a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher. Matthew is attending National University of Natural Medicine this fall to obtain his doctorate in naturopathic medicine. Matthew's love for taking care of the body started when he was in 7th grade, falling in love with fitness. Once reaching high-school, he started practicing yoga and soon realized the importance of mental health. Yoga opened up his word into holistic health, in which he started to dive deeper. By the time he started college, Matthew became a personal trainer to continue his passion for health. As well, he started teaching meditation and hosting talks on his college campus about mindfulness. Once finishing college, Matthew obtained his Yoga Teacher license and started working at a chiropractic office, teaching private yoga sessions. Soon Matthew realized he wanted to help and heal people on a deeper level and decided to return to school to obtain his doctorate in naturopathic medicine. The program will start this fall and he is very excited. Matthew writes over holistic health topics that have helped him on his journey. Matthew hopes to inspire others to take care of their health through a holistic approach.
