Matt is British author based in Portsmouth, UK. His debut book is the novella God's Gift, a crime thriller/dark fantasy crossover, which he describes as "wanting to write something fun whilst also throwing his hat in the ring of contemporary athiest discourse." In his spare time he enjoys cooking, making music and art, and spending time with his partner and their cat. Matt is also the illustrator of "Spy Squad - Monkey Madness" a story aimed at young people who are reluctant readers or have a low reading age, which was released in 2024 by Bumblebee Books. Some of Matt's favourite books include: The Fall by Albert Camus, Brazzaville Beach by William Boyd, A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole and His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman.
