Brain injury survivor Mary Lanzavecchia writes from personal experience navigating life from inside an injured brain. In December 2015, a car accident left her engulfed, once again, in the fog of a brain injury--a place she has been at least five times since her teens. Always determined to move forward with optimism, Mary uses her experience, her writing, and her creative passions to work through the challenges of living with a brain injury. After spending 17 years homeschooling her two daughters, Mary now raises puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, teaches critical thinking to high school homeschoolers, and writes and speaks about thriving your way through life's challenges, transitions, and renewals.
