Hello, thank you for looking up my author page!
Since I could talk, I was telling stories and since I could read, I devoured books! So like most authors, it's not a stretch that I had a lifelong passion to write a novel. Unlike most, it took me decades to do it! I worked as a journalist, so I knew I could write -- the ability to sit down and get it done alluded me. I would always create cozy writing spaces and then procrastinate. It turns out that I did not understand the key ingredient to starting and ending a writing project: Discipline! There's not enough space to list the items that finally led to the ah-ha moment of setting strict finger-to-keyboard time each day, but I finally did and I couldn't be more thankful. I relish the time that I spend engrossed on the page with my characters. I get a tickle when I send a fresh batch of pages to a Beta Reader -- and then I'm riddled with anticipation as I wait for feedback. DIVAS 'TIL DEATH is the first in a series. Books 2 and 3 are in final edit and cover design mode. Book 2 should be out in August and Book 3 this fall. Please let me know what you think of them!
As for personal info: I love spending time at the barn riding hunter/jumpers. I'm not the bravest equestrian you'll ever meet. In fact, 'accomplished chicken' most aptly describes my ability, but I may be the most fun! My husband is an avid angler and boater, so we can also be found out on the water -- trying to keep our two labs in the boat! We split our time between Michigan and Florida -- now that we have big dogs, I'm forced to travel each season by car (UGH!) with two dogs, a cat and a husband! All but my hubby are, thankfully, excellent travelers! We spend quite a bit of family time with my husband's three adult children and we are the proud grandparents of adorable twin boys! My favorite thing in life is laughing with friends while enjoying a good bottle of wine!
