Mark Shelley Kenzer is a true mystic in the most traditional sense. Since his earliest childhood, he has had a natural inclination toward the unseen realms and spiritual awakening, which became even greater after his first spontaneous Kundalini awakening at the age of 18, and again at 25, which radically and permanently changed his perception of the world. These awakenings also allowed him not only to unbury deep memories of his own past lives and other realms, but also allowed him contact through visions and automatic writings with holy personages, such as Jesus, John the Divine, Bhaktivedanta Swami, Sri Caitanya, and even Lord Krsna Himself. He was initiated into meditation directly by Paramahansa Yogananda, at the age of 25 when Yogananda and his guru, Sri Yukteswar, appeared to him in a vision. He has been meditating and practicing meditation and Kriya Yoga ever since. Mark successfully built a multi-million dollar business, which not only brought new age, yoga, mystical and alternative health items to the masses, but facilitated his travels to holy places throughout Asia, India, Nepal, and allowed him to visit various saints and sages, including Sri Sivabalayogi, Satguru Subramuniyaswami, and others. For more than 35 years, Mark has extensively studied a wide range of scriptural works, particularly the books and talks of Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, the foremost proponent of Vedic culture in recent times, and utilizing both his knowledge and personal realizations for teaching classes on the well-known classic, Srimad Bhagavad Gita.
