Mark Haber's debut novel, Reinhardt's Garden (2019), was longlisted for the PEN/Hemingway Award. His second and third novel, Saint Sebastian's Abyss (2022), Lesser Ruins (2024) were both named a best book of the year by the New York Public Library. Lesser Ruins was also Shortlisted for 2024 Republic of Consciousness Prize U.S. and Canada. Mark was appointed a Samuel Fischer Guestprofessor at Freie Universität Berlin 2024/2025. Mark's fiction has appeared in Guernica, Southwest Review and Literary Hub, among others. Mark lives in Minneapolis.
