Mark Ciccone is a science-fiction and alternate history writer based in Wisconsin. He first began writing with the hope of being published in 2010, with the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) competition, and hasn't looked back since. He spends most of his free time reading or on his laptop; hardly a day passes without him doing some kind of draft or outline work for a past, present or planned writing project. His short stories "Toe-to-Toe", published by Sea Lion Press, and "Les Mariannes" were finalists for the 2023 and 2025 Sidewise Award for (Short Form) Alternate History.
