Marjory McGinn is a Scottish-born author and journalist, partly brought up in Australia and now based in Cornwall, England. Her journalism has appeared in leading newspapers and magazines in the UK and Australia. As a feature writer she interviewed many prominent people in the arts, politics and sport, including: Donald Sutherland, Olivia Newton-John, Clive James, and cricketing legend, the late Shane Warne, who famously demonstrated his spin bowling techniques for her in a crowded Sydney restaurant using bread rolls! In 2010, she moved to Greece with her husband Jim and their terrier Wallace. The trip lasted four years and became the basis for her four travel memoirs, starting with the popular Things Can Only Get Feta, and two gripping Greek novels A Saint For The Summer and How Greek Is Your Love? which are regularly in Amazon bestseller charts. Her latest travel memoir has tales from different, and exotic, international locations - Wake Me Up For The Elephants. Her latest novel The Greek Proposal is a tale of romance and mystery set in southern Greece again with memorable characters, a gorgeous location and also a lovable sausage dog called Lou with the rare gift of tinkering with destiny to suit his own narrative. The book is a best seller in several Amazon charts. She enjoys travel, hillwalking, photography, and is a member of the UK's Society of Authors.
