Marina Pascoe grew up at Maenporth, a small cove just a couple of miles from Falmouth in Cornwall. An avid Agatha Christie fan from the age of eleven, she always wanted to be a writer...and many late nights were had reading under the blankets with a torch despite her mother's protestations that her eyes would fall out! The Bartlett and Boase Mysteries are set in 1920s Cornwall and feature Inspector George Bartlett and Constable Archie Boase an interesting duo who struggle to solve murders in and around the seaside town of Falmouth. The books are historically and geographically accurate and many people have used the books as a guide when visiting the area and taking trips to the scenes that appear in the books. The Proof of the Pudding is the fourth and newest book in a series destined to continue with many more to come. As long as she has readers, Marina Pascoe will keep writing.
