2023 Nebula- and Hugo Award Nominee Marie Vibbert has been a medieval squire (SCA) a defensive lineman (WFA - The Cleveland Fusion) and a factory temp worker. She and her husband are on a (frequently stalled) quest to ride all the roller coasters in North America. By day she is a computer programmer. She has over 80 short stories in top magazines like Nature, Amazing Stories, and F&SF. Her work has been called "everything science fiction should be" by the Oxford Culture Review and has been translated into Czech, Chinese, and Vietnamese.
