Marie Lang was born in 1986 in Bünde and began her career as a fashion designer at JOOP! before becoming the first German female kickboxer to win twenty world championship titles across three different weight classes. In 2015, she set a world record for the most title defenses in a single year. Outside the ring, she is a popular guest on entertainment and talk shows such as taff, Promi Big Brother, Klein gegen Groß, and others. As a patron, she is dedicated to supporting children and young people through initiatives like Boxt euch durch München and Schule ohne Rassismus – Schule mit Courage, both of which are causes close to her heart.
