Marcus Harrison is an author based in Harrison, Michigan, writing fiction that explores what happens when the systems we depend on disappear. His debut series, The Quiet Grid, follows multiple perspectives through the aftermath of a nationwide grid collapse — from a rural Michigan family fighting to hold their community together, to the officials and investigators racing to understand what caused it and whether it can be stopped from getting worse.
Drawing on deep research into infrastructure vulnerability, emergency response, and the fragile threads that hold rural communities together under pressure, Marcus writes thrillers that are as much about people as they are about the systems failing around them.
He lives in Michigan, where The Quiet Grid series continues to grow.
