Marcel Infeld was born in 1939 in Antwerp, Belgium, into a Jewish Orthodox family. After WWII he immigrated first to Israel, later to Brooklyn, New York, where he attended a Yeshiva high school. He obtained a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from Brooklyn College, and a Master of Public Health in health care administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He joined the Peace Corps and served as a high school teacher in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He worked at various times as the CEO of an HMO, health care consultant, high school teacher, and real estate broker. He has taught Bible classes at synagogues and community forums. Marcel lives in Sarasota, Florida, with his wife, Dr. Donna Lind Infeld.
