Mac Lake is a trusted voice in Christian leadership and church multiplication. With over 30 years of experience equipping leaders, Mac is passionate about helping individuals and organizations develop the character and competency needed to lead themselves—and others—with purpose. In 1997, Mac planted Carolina Forest Community Church in Myrtle Beach, SC. He later served as Leadership Development Pastor at Seacoast Church in Charleston, where he helped create scalable systems to identify and equip leaders at every level. In 2010, he became the founding architect of the LAUNCH Church Planting Network, a model adopted by the North American Mission Board, where he served as a leadership strategist. Today, Mac leads The Multiply Group, an organization dedicated to helping churches and businesses build intentional leadership development cultures. He’s the author of seven books, including The Multiplication Effect, Leading Others, and Leading Yourself, a practical training guide with a foreword by John C. Maxwell. Mac lives in Charleston, SC, with his wife Cindy. They have three adult children and six energetic grandchildren who keep them laughing and on their toes.
