Mia Cara is a writer, transformational life coach, speaker, and mentor dedicated to personal growth, emotional resilience, and the awakening of consciousness.
Born in Bogotá, Colombia, her life has been shaped by a profound human, spiritual, and artistic journey that led her to experience different cultures and countries, enriching her understanding of life and the human soul.
With an extensive background in communications, public relations, research, and content production, Mia became the first Latina woman to serve as News Department Director for a Hispanic media outlet in the metropolitan area of Washington, D.C., paving the way for other women in Hispanic media in the United States.
Her journey also brought her closer to the artistic and audiovisual world, integrating writing, creative expression, and human development as tools for transformation.
Naturally self-taught, Mia has found in reading, observation, and life experiences her greatest source of wisdom. At 87 years old — a stage of life she lovingly calls “The Third Youth” — she continues writing, creating, and sharing messages of awareness, purpose, and inner transformation.
She is the author of several books exploring themes such as emotional healing, holistic wellness, spiritual awakening, resilience, and purpose, including:
• “Odyssey: A New Sunrise”, a science fiction and magical realism novel with a visionary perspective on humanity.
• “Healthy Habits: Physical, Emotional, Mental Health”, focused on holistic well-being and the connection between body, mind, and emotions.
• “Beyond Memory: Deciphering the Secrets of Alzheimer’s”, a compassionate work aimed at raising awareness about cognitive health and human connection.
• “Wisdom in the Past, Life in the Present”, a reflective exploration of aging, human dignity, and the value of life experience.
• “Healing My Roots: From Girl to Woman, My Story Could Be Yours”, a testimonial work about family wounds, identity, and inner transformation.
• “REBIRTH: From Darkness Into the Light”, one of her most intimate and inspiring books, based on true events, where she shares a profound journey of emotional and spiritual reconstruction.
Mia Cara’s work is recognized for its authentic, sensitive, and deeply human voice, capable of transforming pain into reflection and life experiences into messages of hope and inspiration.
Today, she continues sharing her story with the conviction that every human being has the ability to heal, rebuild, and begin again.
