M.C. Ernst writes emotionally grounded romance stories that explore love, longing, and the small moments that change everything. Her work centers on second chances, complicated histories, and the kind of connection that lingers long after
the last page.

A United States Marine Corps veteran, Ernst brings a deep sense of resilience, loyalty, and emotional depth to her characters. She holds degrees in Healthcare Leadership and Policy and Healthcare Administration, but storytelling has always been her truest constant—one shaped by lived experience, quiet observation, and a lifelong love of romance.

Originally from a small town just outside Kansas City, Missouri, Ernst draws inspiration from close-knit communities and familiar places. She is a proud Swiftie and a ’rm believer that there's a Taylor Swift song for every kind of heartbreak.

When she's not writing, Ernst can usually be found reading romance novels, competing at trivia nights, dabbling in photography, or spending time with family. She's always chasing her next creative outlet—whether that's on the page, behind the camera, or somewhere in between.

Ernst writes love stories with heart, heat, and honesty—where yearning lingers, growth is earned, and love feels real.
