Ancient myths have roots. Lusine Torossian gives them wings. Lusine weaves fantasy stories rooted in Armenian mythology, drawing from ancient sources to explore themes that feel timeless. Her tales are atmospheric and immersive, layered with myth, and built to heal. Her debut novel, "Light Weaver" (The Wild Rose Press), won the 2023 SCBWI-Florida Rising Kite Award. When she’s not building worlds, she’s reading fortunes in Armenian coffee grounds, a generations-old family tradition she’s still "perfecting." A New York City native, she now lives in sunny Florida with her husband and Finny, a very brave Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who takes his role as writing partner seriously.
