I'm an author, presenter & clothes historian. My novels are inspired by history, particularly the 1940s: THE RED RIBBON is about a young seamstress in a concentration camp; SUMMERLAND is set in a Yorkshire country house in 1946. THE RED RIBBON is being translated into nine different languages and has recently been optioned for Hollywood (watch this space) If you like non-fiction, my latest illustrated history book is WOMEN'S LIVES AND CLOTHES IN WW2: READY FOR ACTION, with wartime tales from around the world and unique images. I'm currently working on a new history project which has taken me around the world for site visits and interviews... can't wait to tell you more about it when it's done.
