Louise Hawes is the author of two short fiction collections and over a dozen novels. Her work for readers of all ages has won awards at both the state and national levels, and she is represented in numerous anthologies. She has served as a John Grisholm Visiting Author at the University of Mississippi, a Read in Common Author at the Mississippi University for Women, and a Writer in Residence at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque.
