Louisa Swaden is a writer, speaker, and lifelong questioner known as The Existential Biker. A former corporate executive, she swapped boardrooms for backroads to become a motorcycling tour guide, land speed racer, and student of Stoic philosophy. She’s one of the few women to race at Bonneville Salt Flats, holds a Pendine Sands land speed record, and earned membership in the exclusive 200mph Club. In The Stoic Rider, Louisa blends ancient wisdom with hard-won experience to explore what it means to live well — on and off the bike. Her work speaks to anyone wrestling with fear, failure, or the weight of modern life, offering clarity and courage for the ride ahead.
