Lotta Borg Skoglund is a Swedish doctor, researcher, and passionate advocate for the girls and women with ADHD who have spent their lives being overlooked. She is Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Karolinska Institutet and Uppsala University in Sweden. Together with co-author Professor Helena Kopp Kallner she founded GODDESS ADHD, a research group dedicated to understanding how hormones shape the mental health of girls and women across their reproductive lives — a field neglected for far too long. She is the founder of SMART Psykiatri, a clinic for early detection and preventive mental health support, and the author of eight popular science books. Her "ADHD 24/7 model", co-created with patients, is used by organisations to build neurodiverse teams, support managers and employees with a common language, and ensure no extraordinary talent goes to waste in the workplace. Her internationally acclaimed ADHD — From Girls to Women: Getting on the Radar has helped countless women finally understand their own stories. Female Hormones and ADHD is her most comprehensive work yet — for every woman who has ever been told she is too much, not enough, or just plain difficult.
