Lorie Ann Grover has published best-selling board books, middle grade verse novels, and YA. Her books have been named a VOYA pick, Bank Street College Best Book of the Year, Parents Magazine's 20 Best Children's Books, and a Carnegie Library Best Book. Lorie Ann’s poetry for adults is published in literary magazines such as Rising Phoenix Review, Moria Literary Magazine, and Pensive. Her poetry for children has also been included in periodicals and collections. Lorie Ann co-founded readergirlz, which received the National Book Foundation's Innovation in Reading Prize. She has mentored for the Children’s Literature Fellows Program of Stony Brook Southampton's MFA in Creative Writing and Literature.
