Writing under the name LY DE ANGELES since 1987 de Angeles had her first name changed to LORE when released from a forced adoption in 2020 in the Supreme Court of Australia. She has worked with the public for over forty years and specializes in anglo-linguistic anthropology and the etymology of words. Lore (Ly) de Angeles is a writer, psychic, master storyteller and researcher. First published in England in 1987 she has been in print, with one book or another, since. De Angeles facilitates immersive personal and group workshops, both educating and guiding, through initiatory journeys and story-sharing, powerful awakenings of ancestral presences. These experiences rip out the throat of the glib, acceptably incorrect and banal retelling of mythic half-truth and folktale. Award-winning author and filmmaker, de Angeles currently lives and works in Melbourne. She is an indigenous Celt, has strong genealogical roots to Nordic, Irish and Breton ancestry and is studied in the lore and story of these living landscapes. She is a scholar, a practitioner of several martial arts, a defender of culture, language, freedom of speech, gender diversity and multi-species equality and right-to-respect. She bore three living people and is now grandmother to five more.
