Liz Ussery is an independently published author of emotionally-charged romance and psychologically twisty thrillers. Based in Illinois, she writes about people who feel too much, think too hard, and fight like hell to find peace. Whether through love, survival, or something a little darker. Her debut romance, Dandelion Pact, explores second chances, childhood promises, and the quiet ache of becoming who you were always meant to be. Her thriller, The Retreat: A Kepos Novel, delves deep into psychological manipulation, forbidden connections, and the terrifying ways we try to heal. Liz has been creating stories since she was a kid, daydreaming characters into life long before she ever wrote them down. She’s a lifelong movie buff (especially the twisty kind), an unapologetic crystal collector, and a firm believer that some of the best writing happens at 2 a.m. She owns a crystal shop, writes constantly, and discards 90% of what she creates—but somehow, the rest sticks.
