California history appears in all my work, whether it's paranormal thriller (Haylee series), or historical fiction (Crossing: A Chinese Family Railroad Novel & Phases of Gage: After the Accident Years). Recent work is on behalf of the Nevada County Historical Society - film making & co-producing self-guided smartphone walking tours. Since 2018, I've been a member of the Sierra WordFest (formerly Sierra Writers Conference) planning committee. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from CSU, Sacramento in 1992. Fur people live in my house (two cats and a dog). They think I'm their servant. They're not wrong.
