Lisa Rayne writes contemporary and historical romance that delivers high-stakes adventures featuring bold Black and multicultural characters living across the span of time. From the Renaissance to the Regency to the Old West through present day, Lisa’s stories promise readers witty banter and loads of romantic tension, while weaving in fascinating fragments of oft overlooked history. If you’re a fan of alpha heroes; fierce, head-strong heroines; and adversaries destined to turn lovers, you're in the right place.

A recovering lawyer and mom of two daughters who are former collegiate athletes, Lisa is also a sports fanatic in her own right. She currently lives in the Midwest, where she binge-watches planner flip-throughs on YouTube, hoards planner supplies, and manages her addiction to police procedurals.
