Lisa Howells has been a journalist for nearly 30 years, interviewing everyone from award-winning authors and actors to detectives who caught serial killers. She is a deputy editor and books reviewer, championing fiction in all its forms. Her work in the true crime field informs her writing, which explores power, violence and the resilience of women, and is shaped by a deep love of wild places and wild animals. Born in London, she lives in the East Midlands with her two cats.
