Journalist and screenwriter for cinema, television, and radio. Over the past thirty years, he has covered major trials involving corruption, organized crime, politics, and human trafficking. Transitioning from court reporting to investigative journalism, he has worked for ANSA, La Stampa, and L’Espresso, where he served as deputy editor and editor-in-chief. The international organization Reporters Without Borders (RSF) included him among the “100 Information Heroes Worldwide,” and the London-based Index on Censorship nominated him—along with 16 others globally—for his fight for freedom of expression. He is the author of investigative books for which he has received several awards. In recognition of his journalistic commitment, the President of the Republic awarded him the title of Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic (motu proprio)
