Lindsay Marie Morris writes emotionally rich WWII historical fiction inspired by her Sicilian-American heritage. A health and business journalist, she brings a reporter's eye for detail and a storyteller's instinct for the human moments history books leave out. Her novels are grounded in deep historical research, from family archives and oral history interviews to wartime records and on-the-ground exploration.

Her debut novel, The Last Letter from Sicily (Storm Publishing, January 2025), is a WWII historical romance of resilience and family secrets across continents and generations, inspired by her own grandparents' journey from Sicily to Milwaukee. Her second novel, Beneath the Sicilian Stars (Storm Publishing, July 2025), returns to wartime Sicily and California, following a family torn apart by loyalty, belonging, and sacrifice.

A Marquette University graduate, Lindsay began her career as a magazine editor before moving into digital media and nonprofit communications. Beyond her fiction, Lindsay leads author talks and workshops on personal storytelling and history, and offers book coaching to writers developing their own historical and family-inspired stories.
