Linda McLaughlin spent most of her childhood with her head in the proverbial clouds while dreaming of worlds long past or never created. A book junkie and history buff from an early age, she enjoyed listening to her grandmother's stories of life in the past, including how her ancestors lived in a log cabin and fought in the Civil War. So it's only natural she prefers writing historical romance. She loves transporting her readers into the past where her characters learn that, in the journey of life, love is the sweetest reward. A native of Pittsburgh, PA., she now lives in Orange County, California. Linda also writes steamy and erotic romance as Lyndi Lamont and is one half of the writing team of Lyn O'Farrell.
