Lil is an award-winning copywriter who turned her talent for a catchy tone of voice and a snappy sentence into her first book, Not That I’d Kiss A Girl – a hilarious and heartbreaking memoir about her coming out experience in the early noughties, set in New Zealand's South Island, Auckland and the USA. Her essays have been published in The Spinoff, Ensemble and takahe, as well as in her second book Otherhood, which was edited by Lil, Alie Benge and Kathryn van Beek. Lil is now working on the film adaptation of Not That I'd Kiss A Girl with South Pacific Pictures.
