Dr. Leslie Ann Hernández Montañez is a Puerto Rican Clinical Psychologist, speaker, and author dedicated to helping individuals navigate some of life’s most challenging experiences. Born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, she holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and master's degrees in Clinical Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and Substance Abuse Counseling. Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Hernández has positively impacted the lives of more than 10,000 individuals through psychological assessment, treatment, crisis intervention, and counseling services. Her professional experience includes leadership and service roles with the American Red Cross, the Puerto Rico Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, the United States Department of Defense, and the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, where she has worked extensively with military personnel, veterans, families, and individuals facing trauma, grief, loss, and other emotional challenges. As an author, Dr. Hernández extends her commitment to healing beyond the clinical setting. She is the author of The Art of Walking from Grief to Life: A Motivational Guide for Transformation and Healing Toward a New Beginning, available in both English and Spanish, a book that has inspired readers to find hope, resilience, and purpose after loss. She is also the author of Infertility: The Cry of the Soul, a compassionate work that gives voice to the emotional journey of infertility and offers support, understanding, and encouragement to those walking that path. Through her clinical practice, public speaking engagements, and written works, Dr. Hernández remains committed to empowering others to transform adversity into growth, discover inner strength, and create meaningful new beginnings.
