Lee Richie was born and grew up in Liverpool, England before migrating to Canada and, later, Australia. “I’ve had the good fortune to travel the world and live in many places and this has always inspired me to write. Meeting people from all walks of life and different backgrounds provide a treasure trove of ideas for characters and their stories. "I have eclectic tastes in everything, this is reflected in the genres of books I read and write. My latest novel is the historical drama, Black Bones, Red Earth, set in the Australian outback, while Alexander Bottom & The Dreamweaver’s Daughter is primarily a Young Adult Fantasy set in a fictional world on the other side of the universe.
