Leah T. Williams was born and raised in St. Kitts, where the vibrant sounds and stories of the Caribbean shaped her imagination. Now living in Central Florida, she teaches middle school English and writes novels that blend heart, heritage, and humor. She is the author of Neither Out Far Nor In Deep (also available as an audiobook), Where Is Noemi, Where the Guava Tree Stands (novel-in-verse, also available as an audiobook), Sweet Like Sugar Cane (a prequel to Neither Out Far Nor In Deep, with audiobook), and Black Girls Day Off. Her stories celebrate identity, culture, and the power of young voices, while giving readers—especially Caribbean and African American teens—the chance to see themselves on the page. When she’s not writing or teaching, Leah can usually be found with a book in hand, music playing, or laughing with her family. 📚 Connect with her and follow her journey on all platforms: @kittiwriter1
