Leah Browning is the author of Two Good Ears and Loud Snow, mini-books of short fiction published by Silent Station Press, and When the Sun Comes Out After Three Days of Rain, a collection of poetry published by Kelsay Books. She is also the author of three short nonfiction books and six chapbooks of poetry and fiction. Browning’s work has appeared in Four Way Review, Necessary Fiction, The Threepenny Review, Valparaiso Fiction Review, Passages North, Waxwing, Contrary Magazine, The Forge Literary Magazine, Flock, The Petigru Review, Chagrin River Review, Harpur Palate, Newfound, Ponder Review, The Stillwater Review, Superstition Review, The Broadkill Review, The Homestead Review, Oyster River Pages, Watershed Review, Parhelion Literary Magazine, Belletrist Magazine, Poetry South, Random Sample Review, Terrain, Mojave River Review, Glassworks Magazine, First Class Literary Magazine, Belle Ombre, Santa Ana River Review, and other literary journals and anthologies. Her first full-length collection of short stories is forthcoming. In addition to writing, Leah Browning serves as editor of the Apple Valley Review, a literary journal established in 2005.
