Laurie Blake is the author of character-driven book club thrillers that blend psychological suspense with twisty, page-turning plots — stories that throw her characters, and her readers, into impossible moral dilemmas.

She studied psychology at university before pursuing a career in communications, and now writes novels that weave together her love of psychology with her fascination for hidden motives and secrets. Her debut, This Jury Is Guilty, throws ordinary people into extraordinary circumstances, where justice, revenge, and guilt collide.

Away from her desk, Laurie can usually be found running, taking long walks with her dog, or chasing the perfect cup of coffee.
