Hi, This book materialized because in my heart I believe my testimony, thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences are meant to be shared. My stepmother journey was rarely easy, and I am thankful and blessed to have the opportunity to share it with you. I do not claim to have all the answers, but I do know it is important to keep reaching forward. Recognize we are doing our best to make every day matter and believe we are making a difference. What makes a stepparent special is we care for other people's children. My testimony is not a step-by-step narration or graphical depiction of what I went through. I want my reader's to leave with the confidence they are not alone in what they are feeling. I believe the journey is different for everyone, but regardless of the route or map given, we all encounter similar experiences along the way. I believe awareness and feedback are essential. In reality, testimonies are about courage and hope, strength and frailty. It reminds me I am not alone in my stepparent journey. The more we can share our stories, the more we learn.
